It's been a while

I realize that it has been quite some time since I have updated this blog. It has been a very busy month for me. Exciting, but busy. So as everybody is aware, the Gulf Oil Spill is the current hot topic. I'm tired of everybody talking about it. Blah blah blah. Lets stop pointing fingers and figure this crap out and do something to fix it. How bout our federal gov't waits until the problem is fixed before they start filing law suits. BP does not expect to get out if this scott free. However, now is not the time for the feds to start a bunch of civil court crap. With that being said, I had two very awesome experiences this month. A few weeks ago, I traveled to Sea Island, Ga for a wedding. As most know, this is where President Bush held the G8 Summit in 2004. While there, I was able to see the room and the table where the summit took place. I also got to sit in President Bush's chair. It was a once in a life time opportunity. The second thing happened today. I flew an airplane. I took a flight with a friend who is a flight instructor. Once in the air, he handed the controls over to me for about an hour. Next time I fly an airline, I will have a new appreciation for the pilots. There are a lot of things going on in the cockpit. These guys must have serious muti-tasking skills.
